Nevam + Salesforce: Email just joined the journey

Customer emails are surprisingly hard to see. They live inside marketing platforms, where they're easy for the team sending them to manage, but much harder for everyone else to access. For product, design, support, and leadership teams, an important part of the customer experience often sits just out of view.

Even for the teams working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, getting the full picture isn't easy. You can review email performance, but you can't easily see the email alongside it. The content, its history, and how it fits into the customer journey all live in different places.

We built Nevam's Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration to bring everything together. Every email is now available in its current template version, complete with its metadata, version history, content variations, and customer context.

Users no longer need to log into Salesforce Marketing Cloud to understand what's being sent. They can see the email itself, how it has changed over time, where it appears in the live customer experience, and follow it through the journey to understand its effectiveness.

Email is one of the most important customer touchpoints. It should be just as easy to understand as the rest of the customer experience.

What's changed

Every email your Salesforce Marketing Cloud sends now lives in Nevam's channel library alongside every other touchpoint in the customer experience. You'll see the current email template, its complete version history, and content variations.

It sits in the journey, not beside it. So when someone on the web team, the CRM team, or a compliance lead opens a canvas, the email is already there, in context, next to the touchpoints it's supposed to be working with.

You can also follow every email through the live customer experience, seeing exactly where it fits in the journey instead of viewing it as an isolated campaign.

"Gaps often go unnoticed because the broader business has limited visibility into what customers are receiving.”

If you're migrating to Advanced, do this first

If Salesforce Marketing Cloud Advanced is on your roadmap, there's a harder version of the same visibility problem waiting for you: auditing everything you currently have, journey by journey, before it moves.

That audit is exactly what the integration above makes fast. Every email you've built in Marketing Cloud is already sitting in your Nevam canvas, with its metadata, its performance, and its templates, so you can see the full shape of what exists before anyone touches the migration. Your agency partner can run that audit if they're handling the build. Your own team can run it if you're doing it yourselves. Either way, nobody starts the migration by guessing what's actually out there.

We're building the Marketing Cloud Advanced APIs now, alongside two pilot programs auditing this exact process. The next step is showing your current instance and its Advanced equivalent side by side, so you can watch what's changing as it changes, and know your ecosystem is still humming while the migration is underway.

What it makes possible

- Contact strategy, out in the open. Most enterprises run two or three email systems side by side. Nevam shows when multiple systems are sending messages from the same trigger point to the same customer. This is a gap that often goes unnoticed because no single team has a complete view across every system.

- Compliance flagged in context. Content and cadence issues surface where they happen in the journey, not buried in a report someone has to go looking for.

- A complete view of every customer email. Instead of jumping between systems, every team can see the email, how it has evolved over time, where customers encounter it, and how it connects to the rest of the experience.

The email channel exists to drive action. What makes it more effective is a shared view that helps the entire business understand and improve the customer experience.

Customer experience gaps rarely happen by design. They happen because the tools businesses rely on often operate separately. Nevam brings email into view with its full history, content variations, and customer context. It is the first channel we are making visible, and it is the beginning of a broader shift toward connected customer experiences.
